I've shopped for my girl and reviewed FabKids sets before, but have since skipped a few months as we were all set on new clothes. With the holidays approaching, however, I am once again "stalking'' any holiday-worthy looks. FabKids just released their holiday collection and some of those pieces are truly adorable - I like the sequins dress a lot. They now offer boys clothing, as well:

FabKids April Review: Ready for Summer Set + Free Outfit Offer
Both my girl and I have been anxiously awaiting the arrival of the 5-piece Ready for Summer Set from FabKids ever since we selected it about 10 days ago. It showed up at out door yesterday, exactly one week after the order had shipped - not bad given the coast-to-coast distance. Since I liked my first FabKids box so much, I was really looking forward to see this second package in person. It did not disappoint; more than that - we loved every single piece. Take a look at the box and its contents:
The contents: The Ready for Summer Set included five pieces and it was a great deal since I got it for $39.95 - the regular price of a single outfit. This specific set has sold out quickly, but FabKids still has some style sets on sale for the same price, if you are interested. Here are more details on the pieces:
I would definitely buy more outfits & style sets from FabKids in the future - maybe not every month since I have the option to skip, but certainly when my daugher needs clothes seasonally or for an occasion.
Free Outfit Offer: If you want to learn more about FabKids and try it, you can do so here. Plus, for a limited time, if you sign up for FabKids and order your first outfit, you'll get your second one FREE, no code required. That comes to less than $20 per outfit. Plus, you can skip a month and if you are not completely satisfied with the outfit you receive, you can return it for free within 30 days.
What do you think of this FabKids set? Are you a subscriber? What are some of your favorite kid clothing boxes?

This specific set has sold out quickly, but FabKids still has some style sets on sale for the same price, if you are interested. Here are more details on the pieces:
- Sparkle Hearts Tank - this top is so much prettier in person, with all the colorful sparkly hearts that are also very well executed (e.g. "not prickle-y" as my girl pointed out); held up great after washing. This is my daughter's favorite piece - she paired it with leggings over a short sleeve tee and wore it to school the very next day.
- Two FabKids Striped Tanks - one in pink and one in blue - great basic pieces, these are cute and versatile. Also, I like their longer length since they'll look great with both skirts and leggings.
- Striped Knit Skirt - my favorite piece in the box, this sky-blue skort is light and twirly, and smartly done with the attached shorts.
- FabKids Knit Shortie - a quality basic piece, this pretty pink shortie would be perfect for my girl all summer long. I like the sparkly little star embellishment in the corner: I think those little touches make basic pieces like this one just a little extra special and so fun to wear.
- Bonus: My box also included a bonus - a 50% off coupon for a Bluum subscription.
I would definitely buy more outfits & style sets from FabKids in the future - maybe not every month since I have the option to skip, but certainly when my daugher needs clothes seasonally or for an occasion.

FabKids Outfit Selection + One Free Outfit Offer
I've already posted about FabKids - the kids monthly outfit club for adorable head-to-toe ensembles - and the super-cute Nautical Neon Outfit my daughter received back in February. I was very impressed with the quality of the clothes and my girl says they are comfy and soft to wear.
FabKids just released their new spring / summer outfits inspired by the Carnival in Brazil and my girl "just had to" pick another happy ensemble that is set to arrive in May. Take a look at what we selected (Note: Initially, we selected the Hearts in Rio Outfit, however we changed our order for the 5-piece Ready for Summer Set - a much better value at the same price and available for a limited time only):
This Ready for Summer Set consists of five pieces - in addition to the ones in the picture above, there is another striped tank but in pink. Of course, the set has the sparkle hearts tank that my daughter loved so much. The skirt is a skort which is great as it eliminates the need for shorts underneath for spring / summer days. So, we're getting five pieces for the regular outfit price of $39.95. Both my daughter and I can't wait to receive this set!

FabKids Review: Stylish Nautical Neon Outfit
I have already written about FabKids - the kids monthly outfit club for adorable head-to-toe ensembles. I've received the Nautical Neon Outfit a few days after I ordered it and it was better than expected. It arrived in a beautiful box in FabKids' signature hot pink color, wrapped in silver paper and with a note from the line's Creative Partner Christina Applegate.
My daughter was immediately drawn to the box, realizing it was something for her. The Nautical Neon Outfit included the Star Stripe Cardigan and the Ruffle Knit Skirt - such an adorable combination with the preppy cardigan complemented perfectly by the twirly pink skirt. While I could only comment on the design of the clothes when I ordered online, I was truly impressed by the their quality once I opened the box and saw them in person.
The cardigan is of medium weight (lighter than I had expected but very soft and nice) and would be perfect as a layering piece for right now or for warmer days. Both my daughter and I loved the details - the hot pink stripe on the inside of the buttons (matching the color of the skirt) and the yellow stars on the elbows are so chic! The skirt is made of thick but soft cotton and did not change color or shrink after the first wash. The twirly tulle is lightweight but adds that volume girls love so much. Included with the outfit was a head bow in yellow as an add-on present.
My daughter already wore the pieces - together and separately - and said they were very comfy. I got this outfit at 50% off the usual price of $39.95 and couldn't have been happier with the style and quality of the clothes. While I would probably not be buying new outfits every month, I could definitely see using FabKids once or twice per season and / or to celebrate special occasions (this outfit was included in my girl's 5th birthday present).
If you want to try FabKids, you can get your first outfit 50% off through my invitation code. Each month, you'll find outfits styled just for your girl based on your style profile. You can buy that month's outfit or choose to skip a month - just that easy.

FabKids: New Spring Outfits + 50% Off First Outfit
Have you heard of FabKids?
It is a subscription service that - based on your girl's style and preference - sends you a complete designed-in-house outfit every month. Each outfit includes 3 pieces for $39.95. You can buy the outfit you love or skip the month altogether. Size available are ages 2 to 12 girls.
With Creative Partner Christina Applegate on its team, FabKids has generated some positive buzz since its launch in August of last year. Then last month, the fashion subscription service JustFab acquired FabKids and, in the company's own words, this move promises to: bring more fashion outfits to choose from, launch FabKids boys and get faster shipping. It sounds like a good match to me, with JustFab getting access to the kid's subscription sector and FabKids benefiting from a more sophisticated, larger supply chain and distribution.
I have signed up for FabKids back when they launched and while I have waited to make my first purchase for my little fashionista (there are only that many subs you can buy at any given time), I've found their outfits truly stylish and different. Today, however, I have three perfect reasons to finally give FabKids a try:

I love the style combination in this outfit - the playful girly-girl skirt looks adorable with the preppy-styled cardigan. And you can never have too many cardigans for spring! I also like the color combination - the predictable soft pink with the more subdued and elegant black-and-white stripes makes for a truly elegant ensemble. Oh, yes, and there is always a little extra present added to the outfit - in this case, a lovely neon yellow hair clip.
I can't wait to receive the pieces and for my girl to try them out!
If you want to try FabKids and get your first outfit at 50% off (that is less then $20 for the whole outfit), use code DOCTORS50 and learn more about signing up here.
